LLOYD JOHNSON

Pastor Aaron Lloyd Johnson, “a humble servant” is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Restoration Community Christian Church (RCCC) in Manassas, VA. He is a member of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International, under the leadership of Bishop Wesley T. Cherry Sr., Virginia’s State Bishop. He currently serves as Chaplain for Prince William County Police Department and is also a member of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Pastor Johnson conducts Evening Worship Services every 1st Sunday at the PWC Adult Detention Center as well as Nottaway Correctional Center each quarter in Burkeville, VA. He is a member of PWC Jail Mentoring Program and also participates in a weekly Bible Study with his co-workers at the Department of Transportation. Pastor Johnson a graduate of Richmond Virginia Seminary with a Bachelor of Theological Studies. He received his Master of Theological Studies in Biblical Exposition at Andersonville Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Educational Ministry in Pastoral Leadership.
Pastor Johnson served 12 years in the U.S. Navy on various ships during his military career which completed deployments all around the world. He later joined Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Manassas, VA in November 1992 and in January 2002, Rev. Johnson was ordained by Bishop Donald L. Smith as Elder under Mount Calvary Baptist Church as well as The Whole Truth Ministries. On August 3, 2003, he was installed as Assistant Pastor/Overseer of Greater Mount Calvary Outreach Center in Catharpin, VA. The historical site was officially re-opened on Sunday, August 10, 2003. Pastor Johnson has served in numerous ministries at Greater Mount Calvary Christian Church such as Associate Minister, New Disciples Teacher, Leadership Teacher, CED Core Member, and Elder of Family Ministries and as Adjutant to the Bishop for 15 years.
On January 26, 2019, Pastor Johnson, the visionary, celebrated the Pastoral Installation as Senior Pastor of Restoration Community Christian Church in Manassas, VA by Drs. James and Glenda Sutton of Christian Life Church in Manassas, VA. He donates monthly food items to the Alternative Path Training School (APTS) in Manassas, VA as well as an Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon. Pastor Johnson provides weekly visits to Commonwealth Senior Living in Manassas to encourage and show love to the residents through scripture and singing.
In July 2024, Pastors Aaron and Liz Johnson launched the Johnny M. Clemons P.R.E.S.S. Mentorship with the mission: To create intentional, intergenerational spaces that mentor and equip young men and boys in leadership, cultural awareness, history, discipline, integrity, and identity.
In October 2025, Pastors Aaron and Liz Johsnon launched Restoration Community Ministries, Inc. (RCMI) which serves as the central Headquarters for all three entities: 1) Restoration Community Christian Church; 2) Johnson and Johnson Outreach Ministries; and 3) P.R.E.S.S. Mentorship.
Pastor Johnson is currently employed for the Department of Transportation in Washington, DC through Leidos, a government contractor, as a VDI Senior System Engineer. He has been married to the Dr. Elizabeth Byrd Johnson for 38 years and is the father of three children, LaToya Shantell, Elizabeth Miller and Ra’Shawn Durell. He enjoys supporting the church and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One of his favorite scriptures is found in II Corinthians 5:20, “Now then we are Ambassadors for Christ!”

Dr. Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson, a Florida native, currently serves as Pastor of Restoration Community Christian Church in Manassas, Virginia alongside her husband, Pastor Aaron L. Johnson, who is Founder and Senior Pastor. Dr. Liz serves as the NOVA District Director for Full Gospel Baptist Church Daughters of the Promise. In May 2024, Dr. Liz was selected to serve on the African American Festival Committee in Manassas, VA. She also serves as a Community Board member with Carriage House @ Sumner Lake where she resides. She received her Master of Ministry in Biblical Counseling and her Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership from Andersonville Theological Seminary with the Highest Distinction. Dr. Liz has over 30 years in Ministry at Greater Mount Calvary Christion Church to include: Family Ministry, Deaconess Chairperson, Sunday School Superintendent, Teacher of New Members, Master Trainer for Ministers, Deacons, and Deaconess and Overseer of Benevolence.
She is the Founder of Johnson & Johnson Outreach Ministries with a mission: “To partner with organizations and ministries in the community so that our humanitarian efforts may be used as opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all mankind.” She provides Biblical counseling in areas such as grief, premarital and marital relationships, addiction, forgiveness, and single parenting. Her goal is to restore hope and help individuals rediscover their God-given purpose. Some of her outreach efforts has included: 1) Serving as the Spiritual Director on the Advisory Board and Clergy Team member for Kairos International at Central Virginia Correctional Unit (CVCU) and 2) Conducted Monthly Worship Services at the Adult Detention Center in Manassas, Virginia with The Good News Jail and Prison Ministry. Dr. Liz currently partners with Bishop Gale Williams at Entrusted Connected Ministry, where she teaches a Forgiveness Class at The Life House.

Dr. Liz served 7 years in the U.S. Navy that included a 4-year OCONUS tour in Greece. She is currently employed as a Human Resources Business Partner with Zeiders Enterprises, a government contractor in Woodbridge, VA and holds both the PHR and SHRM-CP Certifications in Human Resources. Dr. Liz has been married to Pastor Aaron Lloyd Johnson for 38 years and together they have two children, LaToya Shantell and Ra’Shawn Durell. Being a personal testimony for her, one of her favorite scriptures is from Ephesians 3:20, “Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us!”
